As part of one of my marketing units (MKF2401), I developed a brand extension for Kérastase, introducing a luxury scalp-specific sunscreen to tap into the growing sun protection market. This project explored how Kérastase, a leader in high-end haircare, could leverage its brand equity and innovation to fill a niche gap while navigating competition from established sun care brands like Supergoop! and Coola.

A key challenge was balancing premium positioning with accessibility, ensuring the product’s design and pricing aligned with both consumer expectations and market demand. This strategic extension highlighted my ability to conduct market analysis, competitive positioning, and brand innovation within a dynamic industry landscape.
